Petroplus tanks at Port clarence

Just a quick one i was travelling back from hartlepool last week in the car with the kids in tow and notice around 12 tanks in the petroplus plant. does anyone know how often they are collected and dropped off and what day it normally happens etc etc. vmt

Thought it was once per week, although that was a while ago now.

A 66 goes there about 7ish on a Sunday night and takes the tanks south through Stockton at about 9. They return north if im not mistaken on the Monday evening. Every now and again a second train runs later in the week but i can't remember what day

Expanding on Alan's answer, the most common trainplan at the moment is:

6M04 Port Clarence to Bedworth on a Sunday evening

(then Bedworth to Immingham, Immingham to Cardiff)

6E77 Cardiff to Port Clarence on a Friday evening.


...but like all trainload services, the exact trainplan/timings
are never exactly the same two week running! :roll:
