... on a Saturday. A friend wants to make this trip and asked me what ticket to get. If I type in Peterborough to Welling on the FCC booking sites, it offers "One Day Off Peak Travelcard - Peterborough to London Zones 1-6" price £37.50 as the cheapest option.

However if I type in Peterborough to London All Zones, I get offered "Super Off Peak Day Travelcard - Peterborough to London Zones 1-6" price £24. Is this valid to Welling? I am puzzled why is was not offered when I requested Welling as the destination.

Yes, that will be valid to Welling. Once you get to zone 6 the ticket just becomes a travelcard and there is only one off-peak version of those. The super off-peak refers only to the Peterborough to boundary zone 6 bit.

Edit: Also, the travelcard includes bus travel, so the 89 from round the corner from the station will take you along to the ground if you don't fancy walking.

The Super Off-Peak Travelcard £24 is routed FCC ONLY, whereas the Off-Peak Travelcard £37.50 is ANY PERMITTED. Thus your friend will have to take the slower First Capital Connect trains with the cheaper ticket
