done this journey a few times recently, always using an OPR at 8.70 with my YPR. Now the booking engine on NX's website is only allowing the anytime return on the 9:45 and 9:08 trains, which are what i usually take. Has the validity for the OPR changed or is the website just not working properly?

Perhaps it has something to do with the £12 minimum fare before 10am (except July and August)?

Before 1000 there is a minimum fare of £12-00 using a 16-25 railcard (except in July & August).

Minimum fares / Time restrictions
Please remember that for all journeys made at or before 10am Monday to Friday, a £12 minimum fare applies. If you travel regularly before 10am then a weekly or monthly season ticket may be more appropriate (a Railcard discount will not apply). However, there is NO minimum fare on Public Holidays and during July or August. For full details of minimum fares, please ask at your local staff station or National Rail licensed Travel Agents.
