Person hit by train

So I am on an LNER train to Scotland, currently at Kings Cross but very sadly someone has been hit by a train at Hitchin...

But the information from the train crew makes me want to pull my hair out.

"You are welcome to leave the train and use the West Coast line from St. Pancras... "

I actually can't use Avanti from Euston to Glasgow.

Is there a reason LNER shows an ETA of 2127, but Real Time Trans shows 2200 at Inverness?

2127 and I might just make the 2130 train to Tain. As I can guarantee ScotRail will not hold it.

As KGX I obviously checked the app and it showed acceptance between Euston and Manchester only.

I know, I found out before the on board crew thanks to LNER assistant.

I have no idea why but this time LNER do have ticket acceptance in place with ScotRail - my last three journeys with LNER with disruption have always resulted in a rail replacement coach.
Which I think I might prefer.

I actually can't use Avanti from Euston to Glasgow.

I'm not sure what's more concerning, a member of train crew thinking that Saint Pancras is the West Coast Mainline or the ambiguity with regards to ticket acceptance. And it's quite a walk from King's Cross to Euston for some people, I wonder if London Underground would accept such tickets.
