Permitted route from Bristol back to London

I'm returning from Bristol TM to Paddington today and wondered if there's any interesting routes I could take for fun and avoid sitting o. Those blasted Azuma seats for too long? I have an open return. Presumably via Westbury and the Berks & Hants would be fine but not via Westbury and Salisbury? Etc

If your ticket is an Any Permitted then it should be fine to go via Salisbury as that's the route SWR used to take back in the day.
