Greetings locomotive enthusiasts.
An elderly acquaintance is downsizing and looking to offload his personal collections of 'Railway Observer' (from 1951; 74 years' worth!) and the periodical of the Industrial Railway Soc (IRS). I can't imagine there isn't the odd omission among the Railway Observers but may be doing him a disservice, and not sure about the dates of the IRS periodical his collection covers. He's tried some obvious railway museums and been, politely, knocked back.
He's not seeking remuneration, but would prefer them not to go to landfill. Collection only from Morpeth area.
