Are the DPPPs and CPPPs available publically online. I know the Ebgineering Access Statements are available but they are outdated for nearer weekends

Northern Rail's DPPP is available as a pdf from their website, I presume other TOCs have similar arrangements.

I'd find that helpful. From the attachment in post #2, DPPP seems to refer to a Disabled People’s Protection Policy.

Google is not helping with CPPP.

I think they are the full titles, only ever discussed as the D or C!

CPPP = confirmed "at the time of writing" but may or will likely be changed

Strange that this should come up - I was on the verge of asking the same question about the Engineering Access Statements online myself. The detailed plans were available on Network Rail's labyrinthine website, but every so often they seem to get moved and my bookmark to the relevant page suddenly takes me nowhere!

I've tried using the search facility on the website, but drawn a complete blank. Tried all the usual - National Rules of the Route, Engineering Access Statement, Register of Possessions, etc. All I've been able to find is a series of maps with the outline plans for 2014!

With the Easter weekend upon us, and the line past the house closed for engineering, it would be nice to know what NR are doing - and more importantly where exactly! I know there's nothing I can do if a ballast train parks up under my bedroom window at 2am on Saturday morning, but if it's gonna happen it would be nice to know in advance! (Gives me enough time to get drunk enough to sleep through it )

If you're referring to what I think you are referring to, you currently need to go Industry&Partners > Operational Rules, then scroll down to the "Operational Rules" download links in the body of the text.

Some of the actual interesting bits are linked from http://www.networkrail.co.uk/browse documents/Rules Of The Route/MENU/EASMENUyearXX.pdf (you will want a competent pdf reader to browse this using the side navigation bar).

If you weren't referring to any of that then I apologise and hope someone finds this relevant to them!

Thanks OxtedL - the first of those links is exactly what I meant. Much obliged - I couldn't find them anywhere!

Just one slight problem (and this could well be me being very dumb) when I click on the relevant button on the document's 1st page where it says 2013 Timetable and then beneath there are buttons to take you to Timetable Planning Rules or Engineering Access Statement (the one I want) it doesn't actually do anything! I have the most recent Adobe Reader - am I being incredibly stupid and missing something?!

I'm no pdf wizard, but I found the same thing until I realised that I was accidentally using a browser plugin pdf browser rather than the real thing (despite having already turned it off twice) - is this the issue?

Otherwise you will have to seek out someone wiser than I.

Much obliged to you again OxtedL - didn't realise there was such a difference! Still can't get it to work though - probably something to do with what you suggest or the latest Adobe update. Shall have to wait 'til my friendly neighbourhood computer expert pays a visit next week!
