I remember something a bit like that from when I was little, in Exchange Square in Manchester Apparently there's something about high buildings that they like.

Has anyone here seen falcons from a train?

I dont' recall doing so, but I did watch 2 of them last summer in one of the bays beneath the ECML where it runs along the cliff edge for 5 miles just north of Berwick-on-Tweed while I was walking along the cliff-top footpath.

Yes. When I used to commute into Victoria there were a pair of breeding falcons who had a nest at the top of a tower erected in Battersea power station some years back. Only saw them a few times though from the train.

Not sure if the tower is still there nor indeed if the birds are too now the building work has begun

A pigeon wasnt enjoying being food today though. Had to turn it off as it was being eaten alive.

That is what nature is all about. I wonder how many wildebeest have suffered the same fate over the years on "nature" programmes...lions and crocodiles seeing them as part of their normal diet in the wild.
