People with Autism and Animals

My girlfriend is currently writing a report on the effectiveness of animal assisted therapies and interventions and she needs some opinions on it. From both Autistic people and the parents of Autistic children. She's created some short questionnaires, I've included the links in this post.

By Autistic I mean the current definition of Autism as a spectrum so people on any part of the spectrum can fill in the questionnaire as long as they've been officially diagnosed with either of the following conditions:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Autism
• Aspergers
• PDD-NOS

Please note I decided to post this on here as RailUK seems to have a sizeable community of Autistic people and my girlfriend needed as wide a range an audience as possible.

We've had some great responses, so cheers to all those involved.

My girlfriend does require a few more responses, so it would be much appreciated if others could fill the forms in.

For anyone under 18 who wishes to fill in the form, my girlfriend informs you could fill in the parents questionnaire but write in the 'any further information' box, just state that they filled out the form themselves.
