Penzance driver info please.

Does anyone here work as a driver at Penzance? I was thinking of applying for the qualified driver talent pool vacancy I just wanted some insight into the rosters length of driving turns is there nights? how many links ? what is the work like? is there much OT? anything that could help me decide on where to see my time out I've only got 8 years left and I'd like to retire in Cornwall in this area. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Can't help much except you would sign IET, 150, 175. You'd go as far as Exeter , plus Long Rock depot, Falmouth and St Ives branches. Its a long way west, so be prepared to be a long way from anywhere. Its 3 hours just to get to Exeter! I think there may be some nights, but not too many.
