Hi all,
Does any one know if the crossover points have been fitted so full length trains can run in and out without having to go up to Dee marsh to split the train?

I'm pretty sure it hasn't.
It would be quite a job including the signalling, and I don't think the cement people (Hanson) will fund it.
The rail contract is linked to the construction of Hinckley Point nuclear power station, and that is for a limited time.

TfW want to run a 2 hourly service and the freight movements are stopping that happening. Have a look here
There have been a lot of weekend line possessions lately. But I have not been able to find out what they were doing.

No they haven't - still in development phase.
