The Pennsnett Railway exchanged traffic with British Railways at three locations. Baggeridge Junction on the Wombourne branch, Round Oak on the Wolverhampton to Stourbridge line and Cradley on the Stourbridge extension line. As a fireman at Tyseley in 60s I remember picking up traffic at Round Oak. As a driver at Bescot in 80s I certainly picked up Round Oak Traffic. What I would be interested to know is when was the last exchange made at Cradley. When I picked up traffic at Cradley in the early 60 the exchange siding from Saltwells along side the Midland Red bus depot was long closed. Graham.
