Hi all,

I'm attending a couple of events at the NEC soon.

One of the events is on the airport side of the railway during the evening, but my hotel room is on the NEC side of the tracks.

Are there any other pedestrian access routes over/under the railway nearby?

I normally use the Bridgelink between the rail station and the NEC. Is the bridgelink always accessible?

Are there any other routes at the north and south ends of the NEC site?

On previous visits to the NEC I noticed that there is a footbridge near the Arena, but this always appeared to be locked out of use.

Many thanks in advance.

According to this map the piazza is closed between 1am and 5am but you can walk round the back of BP Pulse Arena. This suggest the bridge itself is open and there must be a way down to ground level from it.

It's also possible to cross at Bickenhill Lane to the north of the station.
