A man has died after being hit by a train at a level crossing in Stirling.

The incident happened shortly before 7am on Wednesday, the Scottish Ambulance Service said.

British Transport Police were also called to the incident at Cornton Road in the Forth Park area of the city.

Very sad. I know the crossing - busy, with good sightings.
