Peak ticketing when weekend operation is in place

Last week, I had a shift on Christmas Eve ending at 6pm. What I forgot about was the fact that even though a weekend service was in operation, I would be charged peak fare in the afternoon on my Oyster.
Today a Sunday service is in operation, will I be charged peak again when I finish at 6?

Other than weekends and bank holidays, are there any other days where normal peak ticketing is non-applicable? (eg. Days where a non Mon-Fri service is in operation)

I don't think peak fares apply on Oyster on bank holidays, such as today.

The "weekend service" during late afternoon and early evening Christmas Eve is simply the winding down of the network for total early shutdown and would not affect the situation of normal weekday fares being charged. Today is a recognized bank holiday and so peak fares will not apply.

Not sure it applies to TfL fares, but a significant number of off-peak restrictions are lifted in the period 24th December - 1st January inclusive: details appear on the Validity Codes. Of course, within that period a number of the dates would be off-peak anyway as has been pointed out above.
