Peak Restrictions with 16-25 Railcard

Hi all,

I was being curious by looking how much it would cost me to go to London on a weekday from Crewe, and I noticed when I select the 'Off-Peak Return with 16-25 Railcard' option on the London Midland website, it doesn't get rid of the peak time trains like would happen with a child or full adult ticket. Does this mean that I can use the above ticket at peak times?

Yep, you can.

No probs! If going beyond London (but within the network area) then that leg is also unrestricted. e.g. say you were going to Woking, that would be £42.90 from Crewe, (£2.25 more than Euston), but Woking to Waterloo/Victoria alone the next day would set you back £8.70 single at peak time, plus £4 single tube.

Oh, and I suggest buying to Kensington Olympia rather than London Terminals. It gives you a free return tube trip between London termini and saves you £1.55.
