does anybody know if this charter is due to traverse the western curve at chinley en route to buxton? the pathfinder tours website doesn`t make it clear;only that the route is via the potteries & south manchester. if it is traversing the curve at chinley i`ll join the tour at leamington spa,if not i`ll join at buxton.

Looks like it's going via Stockport on the way to Buxton, then picking up the freight line through Peak Forest and Chinley East Junction to head towards Chesterfield on the return leg, so not the western curve unfortunately.

drat! the upside is that buxton is a lot more convenient a joining place than leamington spa & the railtour fare is considerably cheaper.
