Basically, the problem is thus;
I had an error (usual one) with MacAfee, meaning I cannot connect to the net. So un-installed it as I have done many times. I re-booted and re-installed it as normal, but it didn't work. I tried to un-install it but that didn't work. Now I have a knackered half version of MacAfee on my PC that I can't get rid of. Until I get rid of it and try re-installing again, I can't get on the net.
I tried to delete the files manually, but whenever I do, I get a message saying cannot delete as the files may be in use or protected or words to that effect.
Ive tried a system restore, and used a 3rd party uninstaller, and both dont work.
Any ideas on how I can delete the files?
