Hello all,
As a collector and researcher of modern (APTIS and later) rail tickets, I've found a lot of very useful info on this forum - so I've finally signed up after lurking for ages
Hopefully a simple question for my first contribution. Since APTIS days (and earlier), tickets have had a payment code printed after the fare. One has appeared recently (within the last couple of years) which I haven't yet worked out ... as you may have guessed from the thread title, it's "Y". For example, a ticket might be printed with £30.00Y
I'm guessing it might be some sort of warrant, as a code number is printed in the bottom right just like on "W"-coded tickets. Would that be right?
The first of many questions from me, no doubt
Cheers.
