Paying partly with eVoucher on RSH

When I tick the box next to an eVoucher on the Red Spotted Hanky payment page, the total cost does not indicate how much my payment card is being charged given part payment is by eVoucher.

Will this information show once I have confirmed the booking? IIRC, this info used to be displayed prior to confirming payment.

It did for me when I booked on RSH at the end of last week.

Yes, that is what should be charged to the card but I think that the OP's concern is that he does not want to get to the having placed an order stage without knowing (not assuming) what will be charged to his card.

Towards the bottom of the payment page, near the terms and conditions tickbox, it will list the value of the vouchers applied to the booking. Assuming you have a Verified by Visa card (or the MasterCard equivalent), when you click Confirm you will then be presented with the Verified by Visa page which will show the amount to be charged to your card.

Exactly. My remaining eVoucher expires on 31/12 and I won't need it after this booking. The total prior to confirming the booking doesn't imply how much I'm paying by card. If this is normal and the breakdown is shown on the confirmation page, I'll go ahead and book.

Doesn't it say anything like 'Your card will be debited with xxxx'? Then the total price of the train tickets on the confirmation page?

I can't remember what the online confirmation page shows, but the e-mail confirmation definitely shows how much has been charged to your card and how much taken from the voucher

Spoke with RSH earlier who advised that due to a technical issue, the payment page doesn't give a breakdown as it should. After purchasing, I was advised to check my eVoucher balance had reduced.

RSH are correct over the phone. They don't show you the remaining amount to pay on the payment page AFAIK. If the vouchers are ticked, they will be deducted and only the remaining balance charged to your card. You will see a full breakdown in your confirmation email.

If the entire amount is covered by vouchers, then the payment details section will disappear.

This is the same for all WebTIS websites iirc.

I did part payment with a RSH voucher a couple of weeks ago, I put the voucher in, pressed apply, and the page refreshed showing the total less the voucher.
