One week in arrears. So this Friday 18th August 2017 is payday for the four week period Sunday 16th July to Saturday 12th August 2018. If you'd only done a week within those dates you'd only get one week's money.

i've yet to see a job anywhere , in any sector which is paid monthly or 4 weekly where you work a whole month in arrears , vs. nothing/ a week to 10 days in arrears on basic ,

variable pay elements however can be a full month in arrears i.e. end of august you get august basic and july variables ...
