A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
I was visiting a friend recently and he had an old photograph that was in a collection that he had purchased. It was of an 0-6-0 LNER J94 saddle tank, number 68006 outside a small water tower there

Would it have been normal for members of this particular class to be stabled at Patricroft.
