I see a lot of posts about the time it can take to actually join a TOC, I just wanted to post about my experience.

I firstly applied for a role in early 2015, I attended and passed an assessment centre at this time.

Passing the assessment centre put me into a talent pool where I remained for over 2 years before being invited to interview.

I passed the interview, however, did not get offered the job at the time... I have this week been contacted and invited to a medical with a start date of June!

Hang in there if you're waiting!

Congrats! That's quite a wait. Probably even more frustrating passing and not hearing anything than applying and not hearing anything.

I can relate to this. Applied initially in 2012, failed on a single psychometric question at OPC after passing all exams and interviews. Re-applied in 2015, passed all again including interview and a medical..... waited patiently for more than 16 months and had to be re-interviewed again. I'm currently awaiting a date for a medical. Seems my working life is on hold. Its a loooooooooong old process. Hopefully one that'll be worth the wait.
