At the beginning of the tour all I could think of was how far before the two Choppers would burst, but I must compliment DRS for providing two locos that were certainly up to the job in hand & provided us with a very enjoyable day. The combination of two locos in good fettle & rare lines for the class made it very enjoyable.

Well done Pathfinder Tours, DRS & Riviera Trains for your good efforts.

I now want more haulage behind 20308+20312, you loud monsters!

Definitely confirmed by yummy125 as "on the way out".

Pathfinder had stewards in all the vestibules until an "all clear" announcement was made (although we were asked not to use the toilets until Millbrook!)

We were probably just waiting at the Western Avenue crossing when the photo was taken.

If you look at the shiny rail on the left in the photo, we went in on that line.

I think that the main reason for the standing ban was because of the extremely limited clearances passing the scrap yards in the background of the picture. In places the clearances were around 4", so I guess that they were paranoid about people window hanging.

I overheard Charles Paget, from Riviera, on his mobile (at Eastern Docks) moaning about the amount of flailing going on during the inward journey.

Because of what he said in #65. If you were on the train, that would make total sense!

It is important, as it could affect future tours if ABP thought we were not complying with their requests.

I was on the train. What is important isn't what is written on an internet forum, but how people actually behave. It was sad, but predictable, that certain people had to be told to behave in a civilised way by Pathfinder at one point.

Well, that's certainly true. When the stewards took up position in the vestibule at Millbrook (on the way in), and asked one guy to return to his seat, he started arguing that the announcement had said he didn't need to sit down until we got into the docks

Surely if a steward asks you to do something, you just do it!

My thoughts are to comply with the wishes of Pathfinder Tours Stewards. Does anyone want to see charter trains end due to irresponsible behaviour by excessive window hanging etc?

Yes of coarse you did go in on the other track, i just checked my pics, when this pic was taken then i was by the gate on the exit of the docks, i was going to say if it was on the way in i was literally just out of shot on the left as thats where i stood when it came in.

If anyones interested you stopped short of the buffers in Western docks by about 20ft, about as close as the driver dared get i expect as i guess he would have lost sight of the buffers because of the nose of the 37, i have pictures if anyone wants them, i can't post them on here but can e-mail them if anybody wants to send me there e_mail address, it appeared as though it was only me and one other fella doing any kind of photo's in either of the docks!

My video does not have a battery indicator only a " your battery is flat " message.
I spent too much time recording other things while I was waiting, never mind you learn by your mistakes !.
