Trafficlink, the UK's leading provider of Traffic and travel information to the BBC, commercial radio and television, has part-time opportunities to join their National Public Transport team, based in London. The team are responsible for the majority of Trafficlinks public transport information output, and work with sources and clients from across the UK, as well as other Trafficlink offices.
You will handle information from our contacts, including train operating companies, airports and ferry companies, and be responsible for collating information for input into our custom built database. You need the ability to handle a busy workload as you will be dealing with a variety of resources and also understand how to prioritise tasks. Excellent telephone and written skills are a must, to gain as much information from sources as you can, and communicate the information to various clients. A good knowledge of national rail, light rail, airport and ferry operators within the UK would be an advantage.
A number of shifts are available from Wednesdays to Sundays, including split shifts. The earliest start time for shifts could be 05:00, so you must be within reach of the London office for that time.
If you enjoy working as part of a team but can also use your own initiative, like the idea of working a variety of shifts for some of the greatest radio stations in the country, then Trafficlink could be just the right place for you to work. For further information on Trafficlink visit http://www.trafficlink.co.uk
To apply:
Please email recruitment@trafficlink.co.uk for an application form. All applications will be treated equally regardless of gender, race, disability, age, sexual orientation or religion/belief.
Closing Date: Friday 9th April 2010
We look forward to hearing from you!
