Can anyone advise me if there is a long stay car park on the Pride Park side of Derby Station, or are there just the two at the front?

And how do they work, are they pay on exit, or by using a machine in the station prior to leaving, and finally, do they take plastic or just real money?

Many thanks.

yes theres parking on pride park side of the station, ticket given at the barrier when entering the car park, as you enter the building you'll see the parking pay machines, and the train ticket machines, both (car park & train) machines take cash and card payments, at the top of the stairs theres train ticket barriers then your above the platforms, if you want to use the shops on the main side of the station don't put your train ticket in the machine! you will lose it, just ask the staff going out and back in, explain that you've come in the other side and they'll let you through. Pay for parking when leaving the station.
you'll find prices for parking here

hope this helps
