I intend to travel from Paris to Milan on 15th June at 07:30. Tickets up to 8th June for this train have been on sale for some time. I've presumed that later dates are not on sale yet due to the timetable change.

I did my regular check this morning and was a bit concerned to find that tickets for the 8th June and proceeding weeks are no longer on sale. Does anyone have an inking why this is?

I get the message on various dates
Seats sold out on the train 9281. Solution not saleable.
Travel solution temporarily not available for the selected date
My guess is there is some retiming due to engineering work, and the details are not confirmed.

This could well be the case....but these trains are extremely popular. Back in mid-December, we tried to book the 07 26 from Paris on a weekday during the second week in March - only to find out that it was fully-booked every day from Monday to Friday, in all three classes. We eventually managed to get two business class seats on the morning of Saturday 18th March for 83 Euro each.

Thanks, I really need to take the early direct train. There is an SNCF option but 06:45 means a very early start.

I'm confident that 14 consecutive days haven't all sold out in the 2 days since I last checked. Many of them were at the lowest pricing tier on Saturday and had been for the previous fortnight.

The SNCF TGVs appear to be running normally on that date.
However, the TIs take a different route both in France (via Lyon) and Italy (using the Turin-Milan LAV), so that might still apply.
There was some talk of increasing the TI service, which might imply changing the times of the existing trains.
But I haven't seen an introduction date for this.

At present there are only six (IIRC) ETR400 Frecciarossa sets modified for use in France and these have to cover the internal Paris-Lyon services as well as the France-Italy ones. If more of the latter are introduced, I suspect that it won't happen until SNCF withdraw their international TGV service....which is currently planned for 2027, according to my French sources.
