I have just bought tickets from Glasgow to Milton Keynes on 26/8 and the only delivery method was paper tickets, isn't this a bit odd?

No tickets from Glasgow Central to Milton Keynes have been set up as fulfillable to E-Ticket by Avanti, as far as I can tell.

Almost certainly just an oversight rather than being intentional.

Flexible tickets could make sense as ScotRail don't like E-Tickets being used, but I'd expect to see Advances enabled at the very least.

Is your origin GLASGOW CEN/QST ? If so, it may be because the rail bus link is theoretically available, and the driver has no means of checking e-tickets (not that they do in my experience anyway).
