Hi all, I posted on here some time back now a link to a painting of the Tornado which I had done with some great reaction. So thought I would start a new thread on here about a new painting I have just completed which has been commissioned by CSRE. The painting depicts the "Polaris" set in GNWR livery heading North past Stowe Hill, Weedon, Northamptonshire. The actual setting for the painting is earlier 2014 so the train itself has yet to have been built, I also had no reference to snow at this location so from a artists point of view this made things a little tricky to pull off but I feel I have done it!
Any comments are most welcome, many thanks James Green (artist)
PS Limited Edition prints of this painting are available with proceeds going to the Railway Benefit Fund.
