Six days a week direct trains from Paignton run to Exmouth, but on Sundays they only go to Okehampton.
Is there a reason for this?
...and would it be feasible to run a mix to Exmouth or Okehampton weekdays pls?
When the single track sections of the Avocet line only permit a half-hourly service, I'd definitely say connections to the Riviera line would be a better use of the paths than direct connections to Okehampton.

Looks like it is just for this week and last week due to engineering works towards Exmouth so the Okehampton - Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids - Paignton services were stitched together. On a normal Sunday they do run to Exmouth like every other day.
