Paddock Wood to Maidstone (East)

Hi there

I am looking to go to Maidstone but I want to meet a friend at Ashford en route. Is it possible to go from paddock wood to Maidstone East via Ashford on an off-peak return (and return on the Medway valley line)?

NRE will give you an itinerary that way so that should be OK.

It appears that if you were to miss a Medway Valley train, it's faster to go via Ashford to Maidstone East than to wait for the next one an hour later:
