And yet, your name suggests your a 'busaholic' which frankly I find even odder, as I have no interest in buses whatsoever? But I don't go around insulting people.

I have a relative who does similar things to the OP, but he was shy and got very anxious in unfamiliar surroundings, more so of it busy. So we would walk him through something like a journey before he made it, to make him confident enough to do it on his own. It worked wonders.

So maybe think a bit before posting, idiot.

Some people get anxious in new situations or places, it's a common enough symptom of disabilities like autism (not that I'm judging the OP).

You don't understand why the OP would worry about the change. I don't understand people with track maps and highlighter pens ticking off 150 yards of freight-only track in west London. You don't understand why I despise Serco. And so we go on.

Your post sums it up, in my case as I think I stated earlier in thread not sure, I prefer to do dummy runs whenever possible to check out the station. Now as said about the main station I've been able to check it out on Google Maps Street View but I've not been able and won't be able to check out the underground station hence the request for plans or photos of the station and the ticket office.

since you mention disabilities I'll reveal that I have a mild learning disability/difficulty, I wouldn't say it's anxiousness, it's as stated a chance to check out what it looks like before I go down.

How strange that a mildly sardonic remark gets blown out of all proportion when other, frequent and incessant users of the forum advocate tasering people with the 'wrong' ticket or who are questioning authority, or, alternatively, strongly approve of strong arm tactics on pensioners protesting about the loss of a benefit: if they do not approve, they are perhaps afraid of signifying their disapproval, because I hardly read any.

I didn't find it hurtful, I think it's that maybe some found my request strange/unnecessary though as we've learned people all have their differnt ways of preparing for untertaking journys.

In my case this includes being well prepared by when possible knowing the stations layout

In this time of heightened Terrorist alerts, I was concerned with some of the OP requests re sketches, photo's and crowd's. He did not indicate where he is travelling from/to (which would be the first question to ask, as Paddington has two distinct Underground area's). Security should be everyone's number one issue at Station's, (especially those that are used by a large amount of US visitors). I make no apology for being cynical at some of the OP's requests/assertions, (especially in relation to his remarks re Crewe). I've spent many year being vigilant at Airports, Ferryports and Stations. 30 years of travelling to and from Ireland makes you see things a lot differently.

I'm sorry, I should've said how I have learning disabilities/difficulties and maybe I should've said the station I was travelling from was Cardiff Central but I'm sure we can get this misunderstanding sorted.

The Montrose-Crewe example was an example of how I prepare for my journys as Montrose is my home station.

Sorry to bump this but I'mjJust letting everybody know I managed fine when I got to Paddington, the train stopped on platform 9 so went down the passage near 11 as suggested and got round the undreground station fine, thanks everybody for your help

I did indeed, I even saw a bench painted with Paddington Bear on it and I even picked a Paddington from the shop for my one year old nephew.
