Paddington to Langdon Park - avoiding tube

Evening,

Just wondering the quickest route to get from Paddington to Langdon Park avoiding the tube. I feel it's either get the 23 bus from Paddington to Charing Cross, the 15 to Tower Gateway, DLR to Poplar and then DLR to Langdon Park. Or, 27 bus to Camden, Overground to Stratford and then DLR to Langdon Park.

Any other suggestions appreciated. Also do not wish to use Elizabeth Line (basically have got quite bad claustrophobia and can't do any tunnels but am okay with road bridges e.g. the approach to Ealing Broadway).

Thanks!

Have you tried the EL? It is so much more spacious than normal tube tunnels that you would find the experience completely different and maybe possible for you. Obviously it is still in tunnels though ...

If coming from west of London into Paddington, you could also consider bus or District Line from Ealing Broadway to Gunnsersbury and picking up the Overground there. The District line is on the surface west of Hammersmith. It's even elevated some of the way.
