Hi, can anyone advise whether I can use the 8.80 family railcard single ticket (2adults and 1 child) by taking the Bakerloo line to Waterloo, train to Clapham Jct, and overground to Imperial wharf?

This will be around 20.00 on fri 13 Feb.

Why would one not use the District Line and change at West Brompton?

The district there operates at 6tph with trains leaving Edgeware Road at 20:05.30, 20:14.30, 20:26, 20:35, 20:45.30 and 20:55 with around a 2min off peak running time to Paddington Pread Street
