Paddington to Didcot question

Am I correct in thinking that the first train the £24.80 offpeak return is valid on after the evening peak is 1930 ex Paddington? (Outward journey from London)

There is no blanket restriction so you can always use the Thames Turbos if that helps.

If you are after direct HSTs, then 1930 is correct.

I'm not sure when you're looking for, but the 17:18 to Oxford is the first train NRE lists for that ticket after 5pm.

That's a stopper. Off-peak tickets are valid on stoppers to Reading and Didcot Parkway in the evenings.
