Looking at a Super Off Peak Single, but would like to break journey at Didcot and Swindon, same day. T&Cs state:

Break of journey:
A break of journey is allowed unless otherwise indicated by a restriction shown against the ticket's Restriction Code

How do I find out the ticket's restriction code before I buy it?

That would be listed under the left hand column here (Restriction code YU). It's very long-winded for this ticket, but only lists what times you can't travel. It makes no mention of break of journey, thus (as you said) it is allowed.
