The Cumbrian Coast hasn’t seen a pacer for months, I live around 1/2 mile from the line so see most trains.

Which is incorrect there's been a sprinkling of pacers over the last couple of months; including one this week. Including a rather bizzare 142+156+142 combo one evening.

Yes they have started reappearing, I was on one Monday afternoon.

Now not to sure why this happens but Mon-Fri 19:14 Sheffield-Piccadilly is booked 2x142 but for some reasons on Saturdays the same service despite being just as busy is just 1x142

Saturdays use a different set of diagrams.

a good place to see pacers is todmorden, with pacers operating:
-Calder valley services (pretty frequently)
-Virtually any service that operates on the todmorden curve
im pretty much undertaking the same thing, but collecting numbers instead.
