I'll upload mine eventually. Fair to say, for obvious reasons, my HST coverage one is vastly superior.

Not on CT ones, Arriva ones, FGW ones...Just never had crap seats on a 150!

How I dislike those horrible little things! Spent 45 minutes sitting at Westbury on one once, waiting to go up to Bristol, to connect to London for the Festival of Railway Modelling at Ally Pally. The damn interlocks on the doors had failed. The guard (a very cheery guy, who was very good about the whole thing and wrote on my ticket to say that the Pacer had broken down) said that they weren't very reliable, and that the doors were especially poor.

Just to update, I cleared my 142s for haulage last Saturday, 067 being the last (done Dawlish Warren-Exeter and had twice since as well!). Sadly I missed 059 though.

The ex central ones Arriva Trains Wales have re-furbed are the comfiest ive ever ridden on! the seats are softer than alot of their 150's back to pacers though if anyone walked up to me on a station and said do you want to go pacer bashing id laugh at them i meen a pacer from Cardiff to Barry more times than a 150 is bad enough

067 was my last one as well, went down there on holiday in May with 001 and 067 to get, dropped 001 on the 1025 ex Paignton on the Tueday (having arrived Monday) and had 067 on the 1025 ex Paignton on the Wednesday, result! Got Barnstaple in as well on the Thursday and during a move down to Exeter on Sunday (going with a mate who was using these £5 all FGW lines rover staff promo tickets to get his mate home) we did the Okehampton Sunday only service with 142029! As for our ATW 150's, yeah love em. Although a lot of the cabs stink of glue for some reason. But 150's go like sh*t through a goose & stop well, what more could you ask for. Did Cardiff to Manchester a few times with a 150 vice a 175, arrived Man Picc right time......sorted. Not bad for a 75mph unit on up to 100mph lines.

That would be because they were, with the exception of a hiatus where they spent a year or two trundling between Walsall and Wellington and the Snow Hill lines, Anglia Railways units, which previous to that, spent most of their lives trundling around Norfolk branchlines, which are hardly the most battering!

'Real' Central 150s have taken a right hammering having been on urban services non stop for 20 years. If a skinny little git like Mark's arse can go through them, anyone's can!

Well I did get an invite to sample the prototype which ran on the Wensleydale Railway a couple of years ago and duly scooped it in!!
