P coding and delay repay

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. but my train today appears to have been p code cancelled (if that's the right way of describing it?). My 08:30 Manchester to Victoria was showing as cancelled on screens, but is not showing on real time trains. I think I am not entitled to claim if a train is removed from the timetable, but, in practice are TPE more flexible than that?

You should claim. The worst that can happen is it gets declined but there is no requirement for you to know about 'P coding', only that the train is cancelled.
