Oyster or Visiting Oyster

What is the differnece between the Oyster and Visiting Oyster card??? besides the fact you cannot get a £3 deposit refund on a visiting oyster.

I go fairly regualrly to/ through London, and im not sure which one to get. I was thinking the ordanary oyster is the better choice.

What do you think?

We got 'normal' Oyster and we only visit, or pass through London two or three times a year. I can't remember what exactly the Visitor version was, but it seemed more geared up for overseas tourists.

Get the ordinary Oyster!

The visitors Oyster has a non-refundable cost and you can only use Pay as you go.

The normal oyster has a refundable charge and you can use both pay as you go and season tickets.
