Anybody used the website https://www.reeclaim.co.uk/ ? Any good?

I was using the TFL website this morning to claim for a delay yesterday on the Met line and I was started to wonder as to why TFL don't automatically refund me when they know already the info I was inputting. Googling the question brought up the above website - which I have never heard of. Just wondering if anybody else had seen or used it?

I've had automatic refunds for severe delays in the past.

If it's on the order of 30 minutes or so, they can't tell whether you took a bit longer because of a delay, or because of a slower route choice/extra time changing because you tied your shoelace/etc.

Yesterday was 45 mins (which I class as severe) so I could have waited to see.

How can they not know? They know exactly where you get on, where you got off, how long it took and if they were the cause of any delay.

Yep.

and if they were the cause of any delay.

Nope. Take my usual evening journey for example: Hammersmith (D&P) to West Ham. The route via Green Park is around 15 minutes quicker than the route via Whitechapel. If there is a 15 minute delay on the Jubilee, but the District is operating normally, they can't tell whether my arrival time was the result of their delay.

You can probably generate variants like that for 99% of realistic journeys in zones 1-6.

I would call that severe too, but to clarify my original statement, the automatic ones for me have been on the order of 60-90+ minutes.

In other words you would otherwise have clocked up two incomplete journeys.

Another delay refund question. Trespassers on line. Claimable or not?

Anybody?
I was also charged for tapping in and out at Aldgate. Why haven't TFL automatically refunded me this?
All we got told was "trespassers on track" and to "seek alternative routes" so I went to Tower Hill to try there. Eventually got to Willesden Green after a delay around 45 mins.
If I can claim, does my journey start at Aldgate or Tower Hill?

Not sure about whether or not trespassers on track is claimable, but the fare for entering and exiting Aldgate can be sorted out by the helpdesk as a refund which will be picked up next time you touch anywhere with the card.

Ok I'll contact them.
But still not sure why it wasn't done automatically. The TFL website claims it's done automatically within 48 hours as long as there haven't been a certain number of similar incidence. I can maybe understand why delay refunds aren't auto but touch in/out at a station they know had problems at the same time I don't get.
