Hi,

Just a quick question, I heard a while back, that Chiltern Railways where planning to role out Oyster Card PAYG Extension as far as High Wycombe and Aylesbury, however having searched this in google I could not find anything apart from a Wiki article

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oyster_card_(pay_as_you_go)_on_National_Rail

(go down to the table)

As I will be traveling to High Wycombe from Greenford on a regular basis soon, I think this will be Ideal for me.

Anyone shed any light on this.

It does seem like the original news article that was the reference has been deleted suggesting they probably won't be doing it any time soon.

The problem is that High Wycombe isn't 'just over the boundary', which would require a special PAYG fare that's just a bit higher than zone 9.

It's a long way over, so the fare will need to be a few quid more than the current maximum - so there'd possibly need to be a change to the 'entry charge' deducted from PAYG cards if services were going in that direction.
