Overnighter

I am wondering where is the best station is, to do an overnighter at?

And do any of the station staff (if any present) mind at all, while you are there?

I'd say Carlisle. Lot's of people go there and a fair few say a lot of action happens. Personally though I'd rather fork out for the hotel but I'm sure people on here will give you reviews.

i have done an over-nighter at Stafford before, very busy but it was a few years ago.

Carlisle is a good one to stay at, plenty of people going through and quite a lot of action.
