Yesterday 04.12.23 an 0V71 0542 Derby RTC to Bicester (Light engine) ran (arriving Bicester MOD at 0921) - believed to have been 37611:
No departures are shown on RTT from Bicester MOD for yesterday 04/12 or today 05/12 - not even this loco returning light to anywhere:
So, what was it for and is it still on hand there ?

Surely it is obvious. Bicester MOD is clearly where the legendary strategic steam reserve is located and I expect the Class 37 is being used to shunt the hidden steam locomotives around to help keep their motion working and not seize up.

I cannot think of any other explanation.
