Hey there,

Just looking for a bit more information re the above role really.

Appreciate based all over UK but any idea what shift pattern would be or ratio of time spent away to time at home for example?

Mainly weekends/nights. If you're lucky you might drop on to days moving the machines about. Advert reads as if it's looking for qualified drivers

Having worked for both amey and colas as a tamper driver operator I rarely lodged away from home the colas t&c's were poor although I did enjoy the job.Network rail have the high output which tampers and regulators follow I'm not sure how much maintenance and other renewals they do I think a lot of lodging would be involved but can't help with how many weekends and other t&c's.
