Hinkley Point is 2 x 1.6 GW generators, unit 1 is now scheduled to start generation in Summer 2027, full commercial generation likely a year after that if no faults are found so Summer 2028. Unit 2 is supposed to start 12months after that with commercial full power about 6 to 12 months after that so sometime in 2030. When that is achieved unit 1 is shutdown for 6 months for its statutory stoppage.
3.2 GW isnt going to be regularly achieved by HPC until well in to the 2030s if all is well.
"Full commercial operation" is not the first time that a plant generates at full power, nor is there a fixed time between first power generation and commercial operation being achieved. In British units it is more typically closer to six months than a year.
Additionally the first shutdown for either reactor is unlikely to be its statutory outage, it will be a short outage for refuelling.
The ONR typically only requires a statutory outage approximately every 3 years.
The only other reactor still generating at that time is Sizewell B at 1.2 GW
Nuclear will struggle to maintain its current generation in the 2030s even compare to now. Todays Generation is around 3 GW because one of Heyshams Condensers has an unplanned shutdown due to a condenser tube failure.
There are currently eight nominally operational AGRs, however none of them achieve particularly good capacity factors, and as previously noted Hartlepool is permanently derated due to the ONR not permitting a boiler replacement in a design specifically designed to allow boiler replacement.
Net generation is about 610MW for six units and 580MW for two, which is a nominal output of around 4820MW, but the lifetime capacity factor of AGRs is in the 75% range or worse (Heysham (1) unit 1 has only managed ~67%).
Modern PWRs manage something more like 85% (Sizewell B being one of if, it not the best performing unit in the current fleet), so that will reduce the difference substantially.

And new low-carbon generating capacity continues to appear. Mostly in the form of even more solar et al.
And coal is going in favour of new natural gas capacity.
