Finally after years and years of waiting the North South line will open on July 22. It will travel from the north of Amsterdam to Amsterdam Centraal (trainstation) to Amsterdam Zuid. Additional stationsstops will be Noorderpark, Rokin, Vijzelgracht, De Pijp en Europaplein. They are thinking about 1 extra station in the north. Several trams and metrolines will change. Where in the past you can have a direct connection; in future one must change from the Metro to tram or bus.
