OpenBVE Controls HELP!

I am new to OpenBVE and I dont know the controls, can somebody please help:cry:. Can you tell me how to start and move a Class 323, I have looked at the controls in the menu but I still don't get it..

Press forward the back then insert
hold 2 until pantograph rises
press forward again then press space
close doors and go.

one problem im having with OpenBVE is that i have a thing that tells me to change ends in the middle of a run, and i dont have a clue of how to do it

BVE4 and OpenBVE controls are in some ways quite similar - rather than listing them all I will post a link to the guide here.

Generally though with some of the trains, you do need to put the reverser into a state then to neutral and reset the AWS before you can release the brakes and take power. On the likes of X City, I don't think you need to reset the pantograph.

The only way that I am aware of is to hit "Esc" and go to "Jump to Station" - where a change of ends is required, you will find a station call called something like "CHANGE ENDS" which needs to be selected

You need to press F and then V (Front, Neutral), wait for the long alarm sound to press INSERT (AWS cancel), then press 2 (Pantograph Up), wait a little moment, and then press F (Front), close the doors and you're ready to go ;)
