Having just discovered the above named website does anyone on here use it and if so do you know if it's possible to "refresh" the times of a particular train in real time whilst it's en route?

I noticed this morning that when I look at a specific train it gives the latest time at/passing X but doesn't seem to update stopping or passing times as the train continues on its journey.

If you refresh the page, it should then show you the timings as far as the train has gone. As far as I know, it isn't a website with automatically updating content as you might get from a BBC news live update.

I thought it didn't seem possible as I couldn't find a refresh key/button whatever but then wondered if I was just being dim!

Must admit I like the site as it is as near to the old TRUST screens that I've seen available to Joe public. Unless you know of a better one?

Refresh it in your browser - if you are on a PC you can use the f5 key, or the buttons in the browser, if you are on a mobile device, you should be able to refresh it by dragging the screen down and releasing.

I personally prefer the layout of realtimetrains, but again that's personal preference.

Hi, mate

Thanks for that I had tried f2 and f8 just at random then gave up but f5 does indeed refresh just what I needed!!

Yes, Realtimetrains looks good too.

I haven't tried this myself, but if you use the Firefox browser there is an addon called Tab Auto Refresh, which will reload a tab at specified intervals.

Connected to this - I remember vaguely of a site which has the CIS Screens for various stations on it.

Can anyone point me in its direction?

For the sake of completeness, although they're not free (it's something along the lines of £15/year), I must say I like the line diagrams on http://railcam.uk . They're nice and compact and so it makes it much easier to see a good overview of an area even when on a phone compared to OpenTrainTimes and Traksy. It's a shame that it's relatively badly coded (seems to poll and not handle requests coming in out of order, and it's been known to really slow down the web browsers on my phone) and uses a lot of data, because otherwise I could recommend it unconditionally.

Well Traksy stopped working for me early afternoon Thursday 24th by shrinking its track diagrams to smaller than a line of type. Normally fabulous. Firefox on Android
Is it just me?:(

I've fixed this now, sorry for the inconvenience.

I deployed a fix earlier to sort out a more widespread issue, which apparently didn't work with mobile Firefox. I was trying to use Firefox as my main browser on Android but since I switched phones I've pretty much given up - I'm finding it the most infuriating buggy slow mess since they introduced all the massive "improvements" a couple of months ago.
