Proof that you should always have a working smoke alarm... taken to the extreme!

I appreciate the reasons given by West Sussex fire bridage for the lack of smoke alarm, but surely it's nothing to publicly broadcast simply because at least 1 person might think "Fire stations don't need fire alarms, so why should i get one"

Isn't it a good idea to broadcast it? People can see, "Ah, that's what happens when you don't have a fire alarm" and go out and fit a new battery into theirs. The unusual way in which the point is raised, being in a humerous rather than Public Information Broadcast-esque type way, could mean more people take notice of it.
